Sandy Pinali is a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience in emergency medicine, coronary care, pre- and post-surgery, hospice, and leadership roles. Her journey into patient advocacy began after facing the challenges of helping her own family members and patients navigate the complexities of the healthcare system. Through these experiences, Sandy realized that far too many people struggle to receive the medical care they deserve.
Motivated by a deep desire to make a difference, Sandy founded Hand in Hand Patient Advocacy, where she is dedicated to ensuring that every individual has access to appropriate healthcare, timely diagnoses, and effective treatment. She believes that by working in collaboration with healthcare teams, patient advocates can improve communication, reduce the risk of medical errors, and help clients receive the care they need when they need it most.
Sandy and her husband, Gene, have called Medina, Ohio, home for over 30 years. They are proud parents of two grown sons, Tony and Mike, and share their home with their beloved dog, Izzy.
